Miya Kiryu is a member of the Seraph Squadron, specifically of illustrious Squad 30-G. A veteran unit whose motto revolves around 'faith', Miya serves as one of its sharpshooters. Off the field, she does work in the Association for the Preservation of Traditional Japanese Culture, and obsesses over the most minute of details regarding it. She also actively attempts recruitment for its membership, albeit serving as the only member of her club, and is as friendly as they come, pushiness when excited about something aside.
Other: Heaven Burns Red is a series that deals with and makes references to war, death and existential crisis.
She is also coming in from the end of Chapter 5.1 (along with details from her personal event, 28 Meters of Eternity), which was released fairly recently -- I will not bring spoilers from this chapter up without explicit permission.

FOURTHWALLING: Compared to a certain freewheeler in Ruka, Miya does not engage in fourth wall nonsense very often, but she certainly reacts very strongly to such things! Let's not call her a fictional character, though, that might not stick very well.

VISUAL: Looks no older than 16-17. Mid-length brown hair; wears a strange cross between a school uniform and a kimono, what with the long sleeves. Wears midcalf-length socks and regular leather shoes. Has a kitsune mask on her person at all times.

MIYA'S HABIT FOR SHOOTING THINGS
Miya's a noteworthy member of the Seraph Squadron in that she exposes the weaknesses of those she fights; in practice, this exacerbates any already present elemental weaknesses the opponent might have.
